Cory Desloge: Harbor House Collective

Talking Joints Memo

Cory Desloge, Head Cultivator at Harbor House Collective located in Chelsea, Massachusetts, is a seasoned cultivator with over 18 years of experience. His journey began in his hometown of Brentsville, Virginia, where he was first introduced to the cannabis culture and the world of cultivation. After completing college, Cory reconnected with old associates and ventured to Colorado with hopes of making his mark in the emerging adult-use market. After 8 years in Colorado, he left for work with 710 Labs in Oklahoma before relocating to Oakland, California. In Oakland, he played a pivotal role in the launch of a 30,000 sq. ft. indoor canopy operation.  His next venture led him to the hemp market in Tennessee, where he honed his skills in large-scale growing and pheno-hunting at Zion Farms. Following two fruitful years at Zion Farms, Cory assumed the role of Head of Cultivation at Harbor House Collective in Chelsea, Massachusetts, in 2021. Since his arrival, he has demonstrated a knack for delivering quality products that cater to consumer preferences.

Cory's expertise was recently recognized in the High Times Cup Massachusetts 2023, where Harbor House Collective swept several categories. Their Kosher Kush claimed first place in the Indica Flower category, while Grape Cream Cake secured third place in the Hybrid Flower category. Cory's cultivating skills provided Tommy Terps, Lab Director at Harbor House, with the high-quality flower needed for non-solvent rosin production, resulting in the Grape Cream Cake winning first place in this category. Additionally, their Papaya Cake earned second place in the Rosin Vapes category. In addition to their award-winning strains, Harbor House Collective has initiated breeding projects that promise new and exciting flavors for the market. Keep an eye out for Corey's hometown favorite, The Virginia Beach Ganni, now available in Massachusetts for enthusiasts to savor.
